No. All of our home solar systems are flexible and very compact. They do not require a lot of space and no elaborate roof set up. You can fix the solar panel to your roof, but you can also simply place it on your balcony, mount it to your wall, outside of your window or even set it up on the ground.

We recommend that you use our appliances with the home solar systems.

It is possible to use appliances from other manufacturers but it is important to check the technical compatibility before connecting the appliances. The appliances will need to be suitable for DC (direct current) and the voltage lined out in the system description. In addition, it is important to not exceed the battery’s capacity with the total amount and electric load of the appliances. If you require more specific advice, please contact us.

Unfortunately, we currently do not sell any inverters.

Yes. The pre-defined bundles lined out on the system pages are suitable for a broad group of people. While the solar panel and battery are set key components, you can mix and match any of the appliances to build the system that suits your specific situation and requirements.

At Allied Trans Distributors we believe in quality and sustainability. We select and source our products with the utmost care, we thoroughly test all products and visit our suppliers in person. We cannot sell what we are not 100% convinced of ourselves. All of the products currently in our portfolio are engineered in Germany and come with an extensive warranty. Selling products of inferior quality that might be cheap at first glance but cost more in the long run as they will have to be repaired or replaced again and again does not agree with our values. We do have demo kit in Harare so you can view the system before placing an order.

Payments need to be made in full and in advance, latest by 5pm on the cut-off date for ordering. We accept USD, ZWD as cash payments or bank transfers. The cut-off dates for ordering are published on our social media pages and listed on your quote and invoice. If we do not receive your payment before the ordering cutoff, we will unfortunately not be able to include your products in the shipment to Zimbabwe.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer payment plans / installments. However, we are working on making this option available to you in the future.

• Harare: Within Harare we deliver free of charge.
• Rest of the country: We can ship to anywhere in Zimbabwe for an extra fee. Please contact us for details and a quote.

Alternatively, you can always pick up your order from our headquarters in Zimbabwe.

We currently do not supply our products outside of Zimbabwe. However, we are always happy to review your individual situation to evaluate if we can make an exception to this. Just contact us to discuss.

As you can customize our home solar systems to meet your individual needs, we are currently not keeping excess stock in country.

From the ordering cut-off date to receiving your goods it currently takes approximately 8-12 weeks as we are still facing delays as a result of the Covid pandemic. The ordering cut-off date will always be announced on our social media pages.
